Scoutmaster Update! 03/13/19

Scouts, parents and fellow leaders, Troop 2019 is rocking.

Thanks Mr. Caffrey and all the leaders for a very successful FIRST EVER Troop campout! This past Tuesday, We had 10 scouts earn the rank of Scout. They were presented their Scout patch and will receive a Mothers pin and more recognition at our first Court Of Honor. The troop is in the process of selecting a date for the Court of Honor. Stay tuned.

We have 42 attending Camp Challenge next weekend. It is going to be a great Weekend for Scouting! Some of our older scouts are working on Tenderfoot. One of the requirements is a Board of Review (BOR) we will need parents and leaders that are NOT ASMs to sit in on the BORs. If you are available and can help on Tuesday the 19th let Mrs. Bailey and/or Mr. Dowell know ASAP. If you want to help and have questions feel free to reach out to them or your SM. We need to make sure the scouts are in full Class A uniform at the meetings and especially for their Scoutmaster Conferences. Please plan accordingly if your scout is coming from another event, and bring the uniform along.

Patrols have elected their patrol leaders for the next 6 weeks. Congratulations! The ASMs that have been helping the patrols will continue to do so but on a much more limited basis. Each patrol will start breaking out into a specific Sunday School room at church on Tuesday nights. The SM and ASMs will assign the rooms before the meeting on the 19th.
