WELCOME TO TROOP 2019

Troop 2019 is an all-female scout troop proudly hosted at the Episcopal Church of St. Peter and St. Paul on Johnson Ferry Rd in Marietta, Georgia.

Our troop is currently recruiting young ladies who are interested in learning more about the scouting ideals of being Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent. We have a great group of experienced adult volunteers to offer guidance, but the girls will lead this troop.

Our programming includes weekly meetings to learn and practice leadership skills, work on merit badge and advancement requirements, and plan future events. We will also have monthly events and campouts/outdoor adventures.

Troop 2019 is Marietta’s first all-girls Scouts BSA troop, officially chartered in 2019 when the BSA program opened its doors to girls. Since then, we’ve grown into a thriving troop with 45+ members ranging in age from 11 to 17, all committed to adventure, leadership, and service.

Who We Are

We are a girl-led troop, which means our Scouts plan the activities, lead meetings, and make decisions—with the support of experienced, fully trained adult leaders. This approach helps our Scouts develop confidence, independence, and leadership skills that last a lifetime.

Our dedicated adult leaders are not only highly trained but also passionate about mentoring young women as they challenge themselves, earn merit badges, and work toward the prestigious Eagle Scout rank.

What We Do

Troop 2019 offers adventure, leadership, and community service through the BSA program, including:

Camping & Outdoor Adventures – Monthly outings, from local campouts to high-adventure trips.
Leadership Development – Scouts run the program, learn decision-making, and lead their peers.
Merit Badges & Skills – Explore career paths, hobbies, and life skills while earning badges.
Service Projects – Give back to the community through meaningful service opportunities.
Rank Advancement – From Scout to Eagle, our girls set goals and achieve them.
